PRINCIPLED LEADERSHIP: I will promote ethics reform legislation that encourages transparency and accountability in our government and those who have accepted the call to serve. As a public servant, I will work collectively to be the change we want to see in our state government. We must embrace ethics reform as a fundamental platform issue for all. Ethics reform must stand at the forefront of any effort to help renew the public trust.

PERSISTENT SERVICE: As a lifetime community builder, organizer and public servant, I understand that engaging people from diverse backgrounds and providing safe spaces for open dialogue is an essential component in building strong communities. Strong communities provide a level of service that is critical to the growth of our democracy. During difficult times like these, it is important that we all roll up our sleeves and go beyond our usual acts of service. We must reach out to forge new alliances, engage multiple voices, and open the door for new ideas that connect grassroots citizens to address complex issues. This call to action is at the heart of our campaign.

PASSIONATE VOICE: I will be your voice in the Utah Senate. It’s been said that “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” When your representatives meet behind closed doors you cannot know where they stand on issues that are important to you. I will work to make sure that all debates and decisions are made in public view and that I will voice your concerns.
